What It’s Like Being A Psychic Medium

Hey Shameless Squad! Happy Libra Season! I’m taking off two weeks+ during this time off business, for my 4 year business anniversary, so if you want to book anything, please do ASAP. Libra season is a time for balance, relationships, connection, and of course, the fall equinox. We get into the dark phase of the moon, and some may say the darker times of year until the spring equinox hits. That checks out astrologically and on a human level too. Many tend to run away, snow bird, or begrudge this time of year. Flocking their homes, especially if you’re in Minnesota, the midwest, or where it’s cold, running away from the dark winter nights. Some don’t embrace winter’s nature and how it is a time to nurture ourselves, not run away, but go within. Not me. I know there’s a lot of psychic sensitivity, discovery, and crone wisdom that occurs during this time of year. Winter is a time of divine feminine energy to be risen, yet so many are too busy in an overdistorted masculine energy, they burn themselves out, rather than fill up their cup. Don’t believe me? Read Rebecca Campbell’s books, she talks about this, and I absolutely love her stories. She is healing. She has been a mentor of mine through my spiritual awakenings and her words are extremely powerful. Soak them in. I suggest reading them in order: Light Is The New Black, Rise Sister Rise, and then Your Soul Had A Dream, It Was Your Life. There’s letter to a Starseed, which is okay, and better if you align with that word in my humble opinion.

Anywho, I enjoy being home and balancing seeing family and friends at this time. I know there’s wisdom to be gained and applied in the silent moments, be it morning, daytime, or night. Right now, I’m cozied up, it’s morning as I write this, feet in my foot massager, brown sugar coffee, enjoying my fall halloween decorations, with my door open, enjoying a light fall breeze. Create your reality, right? I’m grateful for this life. I’m going to be very vulnerable in this blog and share what it’s like being a psychic medium.

When I say that at networking events, people are like…
“Wow, you jumped right into that,”
“Oh, you’re a medium?,”
“Omg I’m so jealous of you!!”
“I wish I had your talent and gifts,”
or older women tend to look at me like I’m crazy and not their sister, sigh. Suppressing the divine feminine power in a woman much? I think so. She rising up, in us all, trust me on this one.

I’ve had family members at holiday gatherings gaslight me, thinking their holier than thow because their partner actually comes from some sort of traditional church faith. That’s cool. I’m not judging y’all for your life choices, so why are you threatened to criticize my path when you’ve never engaged in spirituality or religion until this person walked into your life?

I’ve gotten hate from the people in my bloodline. Little do they know, this shit is genetic, so joke’s on them. We tend to hate, dislike, shame, or challenge things in life we don’t understand. Before you cast judgment or evil eye on someone, educate yourself first. I’ve gotten a lot of praise, love, and validation from strangers. Funny how that happens, right? Wrong. Family generational trauma and curses continue until you’re the person to call them out and change them. I know that’s apart of what I’m being called to do, like many of us are. Those that are doing and being with their psychic work or spiritual gifts, will tend to praise others who are doing the same.

Here’s the thing, for those of you that are jealous of me, want my gifts, or to learn about your own talents and abilities, then I invite you to work with me to mentor you. A lot of people need support with this. I want to ensure you that there is nothing to be jealous of. We are all psychic, some of us need a little more guidance than others, someone to talk to about this that’s not gonna shame you, and need to be in spiritual spaces that honor these gifts. Many people don’t know this, in history, psychics gathered in secret circles because many were killed off for their talents and abilities. People were threatened by this. Ancient Seers, Prophecies, and Psychics were sought out by many religions, yes, you read that right, Gods, Goddesses, and more. Let me tell you about my personal day to day as a psychic medium.

My Morning Routine & Life As A Psychic

A daily morning in the life of a psychic. Oftentimes, I need my mornings to flow, wake up, and dream journal to get everything I saw out of my head, and on paper. I need to do something Neptunian everyday. Yoga, painting, creativity, writing, channeling, tarot, oracle reads, meditating, getting grounded, being in nature, and more. I have many clairvoyant dreams, 4-6 at night, some premonitions, others from dead people who’s spirits live on. Many of these people are ancestors, old friend’s family members, living people who need to tell me something they’re worried about, animal totems, deities, gods, goddesses, or those who have completed suicide because their soul is stuck in spiritual purgatory. Sometimes, I feel spiritually hungover and I can’t do much the next day. I know everyone is different, have had similar gifts all their life, haven’t felt this way, and everyone is different. My dreams are so vivid and a lot of images, symbols, signs, synchronicities, and people come through clairvoyantly. Chances are, if I’ve had a connection to you, I’ve probably had a dream, premonition, or psychic hit about you, but more on that later.

An astrologer last year saved my life. No, truly, had I not gone to see her I could have gotten an autoimmune disease. She told me I am a Psychic, more so Psychic Medium, I have the speaking to dead people aspects, animals, aliens, and spirits. She told me if I don’t step into my soul’s purpose of psychic abilities more, I could get an autoimmune disease. She mentioned I am meant to be a spiritual entrepreneur, doing what I am doing, and trust where I am being guided. She said I am not off on doing Astrosex, Astrology Birth Chart Reads, Reiki, Energy Healing, Clearing, Tarot, and more. She said to market myself as a Spiritual Entrepreneur and go with the flow, that I’ll probably be doing something that’s way out there, and that’s Neptune. She mentioned I am going through my Neptune transits, which can be a struggle, if you know you know. If you don’t that’s cool, no worries boo! Neptune transits can dissolve anything it touches, challenges your reality, and forces you to face your fears to turn them into your dreams. That’s very true for me and how this is showing up in my life over the past few years. Relationships have been tested, my old business structure dissolved, and completely changed my spiritual beliefs. I asked my partner who’s also a trained therapist, if he felt like he 100% knew me because it takes 7 years to actually fully know a person according to research. He said no. He said I’ve changed so much in the past year or so, that how could you ever fully know a person. Good point. Research sometimes keeps us stuck in an outdated timeline, old narrative, or identities. The more I think about being conditioned with research through the psychology field, the more I wonder if it actually is true for majority of people out there. It hasn’t been that way for me, my relationship, or family examples some of the time. Which research has it’s downfall, it doesn’t include all. He’s right, I have changed. My old career of becoming a certified sex therapist didn’t matter anymore. My old business model didn’t work for me. My friendships have also completely changed. As difficult as it’s been to navigate so much change and transition, all of this probably happened for the better…

Why I Love My Psychic Gifts & A Note About Psychics On TV

Getting back to the overarching question of what’s it like to be a psychic medium? It’s fucking awesome actually! I have many clairs, like we all do, which I may describe in a later blog too. I always felt I had the ability to know things about people before they said it, pick up on energy of the room, and as corny as it sounds, be able to read people. Now, I’ve never really said that phrase out loud because I think people say it for ego validation or that they think they’re better than someone else at something, when they aren’t. I see people overusing it on reality tv shows like Traitors, The Mole, and others, then we realize oh, not actually right afterall. Then the ones who are psychic, get kicked off those shows because people are threatened by them. Kaitlyn on Big Brother, Tracy on the Traitors UK, and Kimberly on NZ. Kaitlyn received an intuitive hit is what she called it, but the psychics know this was a clairvoyant premonitive dream about a situation that threatened her game. Tracy and Kimberly both got misjudged and criticized for their game play, eventually voted off for being psychic and one had two of the Traitors right in their predictions. Now I know what you’re thinking, if she’s psychic why didn’t she have all 4? First off, there’s about 15-20 people, second off, 50% is really good compared to the average non-claiming psychic person there who people actually listened to and were wrong. The ego gets annoyed and thinks, you can’t be psychic you didn’t get it all right. Well, let me ask you this, did you ever get everything 100% right in your life? No you didn’t. That’s what learning is all about and we are also humans, allowed to make mistakes. Just don’t discredit psychics when they are right at least half the time and others are influencing the energy in the room.

The ego gets bruised when we’re wrong. The ego gets bruised when we’re not 100% right. This is something to be careful and mindful of when engaging in psychic work. The ego gets bruised when we think we can read someone, but it’s actually the ones who don’t claim these gifts in the first place or that phrase that tend to have these abilities more. Sometimes, other people can also be a good judge of character, but we don’t want to believe it, if we want to protect our friends or family members, when someone might try to warn us. That’s the tough part about being psychic. People don’t always want to listen to the messages being given. They want to hear what they want to happen, which is not the same thing. Some will create stories out of one thing said or interpretation based off their perception. That’s where things can get tricky or dangerous when giving readings. Those clients need to be corrected and somewhat, put in their place. I’ve had clients in readings say, so this is gonna happen, and I’ve said, no, I didn’t say that, just be careful about this situation. There’s a difference. What they do with that information from a psychic reading is completely up to them. We all have free will at the end of the day.

A Word On Psychic Readings & Shame

One woman when I went to Bali said, “Ha, spiritual entrepreneur, psychic? That should be free!” Hi shame. I definitely shamelessly called her out and said no. Would you say that to a man? A pastor? A priest of a church? No you fucking wouldn’t, so check yourself and your boomer energy. This person appeared to be wealthy, with a very poor mindset. Let me just say, there are so many ways to manifest money. People are willing to pay for retreats in Bali, but not a psychic reading that could help them in their life? Says a lot.

No psychic reading should be free. Why? It’s an energy exchange. That’s also a one way ticket to burn out and bleeding out of these gifts. We all have gifts. Talents. Jobs. Careers we get paid for. Everything should be free then, right? If not, why should that be different for a psychic woman who is a spiritual entrepreneur funding her continuing education vs. someone in corporate using a budget in their career? Hell no, I say fuck that! All these other pastors, priests, or psychics in the world get paid, if you want it to be free, you’ve got the wrong mentality. Many can pay for a private reading, donate, come up with a grant for that shit, or support people with their psychic gifts by sponsoring their learning with a scholarship. Let’s review somethings historically with psychics, prophets, ancient seers, tarot, the oracle messages, wealthy mindset, general online psychic readings, and more…

Tarot historically was only for kings, queens, and the rich. If you’re watching too many tarot readers, this may be a sign of a poor mindset and energy that you’re putting out of lack, that’s what you get back. Versus paying for a personal reading instead of consuming general ones that aren’t for you. 

Psychics, prophecies, seers, and oracles were sought out historically for feedback, advice, images, and what to do. There typically were only two psychics, seers, or prophets in town. Many had to travel great lengths and distances to other countries to receive these messages. Many of these were gods and goddesses where they hiked land for days, even weeks to meet with someone.

Now we have the power of the internet and you could get tarot whenever you want. We live in a time and age where we can subscribe to many channels, social media platforms, apps, and even ask chat to give us the messages we want to hear. Technology is great, don’t get me wrong, and when people are only seeking out free spiritual or healing services online, you more than likely have a poor mind. 

Let this be a reminder online readings are not about that reader giving you the messages, but you showing up for yourself day in and out of how bad you want something in life. It takes diligence, courage, and tenacity to show up for yourself spiritually. That is a wealthy mindset, doing whatever it takes to receive the messages that are yours. Not others. This is why it’s important to receive the oracle, psychic messages, and downloads that are solely meant for you. 

Unfortunately, historically, many psychics, seers, tarot readers, were killed because they were seen as doing witchcraft. Many were scared of them because their gifts were so big for the world to carry. 

They were ahead of their time. 

They know what they were doing. 

They know what they were called to do. 

Remember that when it comes to tarot, oracle, or psychic readings. You are sovereign, too. Be mindful of who you give your power away to, what readers, and what messages. Especially in a time of disconnection we’re still overly stimulated by screens. 

Make sure to connect with your community. 

Make sure to get off screens. 

Make sure to tap in and book your own readers. 

Make sure to honor those gods, goddesses, psychics, witches, ancient seers, etc. who have died for those who have been able to do this now. 

Make sure to support your favorite readers, psychics, or seers because they are keeping up apart of spiritual history that has been buried by patriarchy, that helps people heal. 

Don’t take from readers if you won’t support them anyway. Give back to them. Be the kings and queens you are. Be and feel wealthy the next time you book a tarot or psychic read. Notice how that money comes back to you 3x boo! Pay attention to all you receive in your 1:1 reads. There’s a lot of information. 

Some people use it as a reflection tool and that’s why you see so many readings out there. New moon, Full moon, love, relationships, sex, money, career, finances, spiritual messages, oracle, animals, general messages, etc. Reads are timeless and can have timelines. The energies can play out in two days, weeks for some and others two months. This is why it’s important to keep up with your spiritual reads. When energy is stagnant, stuck, questioning something, or you feel unsure, that’s the next time to get a reading done or seek additional spiritual healing services. You are worth it. Your energy is not free like gpt. You are expensive. So be the queens and kings of your life. Remember, you are royalty and a diamond. Your energy is precious and unique. 

So what is it like being psychic in 2025? Like the world is not alive or woken up to their gifts yet. The world is skeptical still, of spirituality, psychics, shames readers, and wants to keep outdated lies about religion alive. Wanting others to seek outside themselves, when they have the source, universe, or goddess like power within.

Many people can’t handle the truth in readings, so they never get them. Many people want to learn their abilities, but never seek out help. Many people hide, run away, and are afraid of their gifts, so they don’t pursue or use them. Like Mother Gaia’s heart is breaking and wants us to wake up. Really it’s the earth shattering, trying to get our attention so we all heal. Heal our shame, generational trauma, curses, scarcity, fears, worries, anxieties, identities, and wrongs to make them right. She’s calling out to us to get back into life’s cycles, following the rhythm of the seasons, energy of menstruation, stress levels, and less being more. Stop overdoing, overproducing, burning ourselves out, and step into your inner being, knowing, and soul gifts. That is what she’s asking us with this. Nobody knows more about you than you. Trust yourself, your intuition, and psychic knowing. Deep down inside, it’s calling for a lot of you to come out, play, learn, and explore your talents.
